The best programs would work with most existing set ups and common applications. This would reduce or eliminate the need for systems to be upgraded or modified to accommodate the new program and make the purchase cost-effective.

It may not necessary to utilize every component in the beginning. But if the software you decide on is limited, so are your uses for it.
