Project Manager Excel and Word Exports

Q: Often when we try to export as excel or word project management templates in project manager seems to go part way through the download process but never actually finishes, even if you leave the computer turned on for hours.
A: This is strange. We haven’t heard of this before. If it doesn’t download in 60 seconds, then it will have timed out. It’s could be your internet connection because we haven’t had any complaints at our end from other users, so please keep an eye on this and let us know if it continues.

Q: When we try to adjust the scale on project plan gannt charts it won’t allow us to select some options, and once you’ve changed from (eg) months to quarters on the top tier the bottom tier will only be in quarters (all other options grayed out).
A: Yes you’re right. There are a couple of options which haven’t been provided. In the next 8 weeks, we have a major build being released and this in this release, all timescale options will be provided.

Q: Often when we select a tab the page only partly opens up. For example, over the weekend I was entering new projects. When I selected the “new projects” tab at the top of the page the window for new projects only half opened up, the rest of the page was blank. So, only the “add new project” button was visible. The “add project group” and “open existing project” buttons didn’t appear at all. Sometime I could tab through and they would suddenly appear, other times I had to select the “getting started” tab and open a new project from there.
A: This seems to be a caching issue. I have raised a support ticket about this to see if we can fix it for you. However in the meantime, if it happens again, click F5 on your keyboard and it will refresh the page and will work fine.
